TULSA HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO OFFER FREE POP-UP IMMUNIZATION RECORD REQUEST CLINIC AT WOODLAND HILLS MALL

TULSA, OK – The Tulsa Health Department will host a free pop-up immunization record request clinic on Saturday, August 4, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Woodland Hills Mall, 7021 S. Memorial Dr. The pop-up clinic will be located in the lower level Sears court.

“Immunizations are one of the best ways to protect the health of your child against vaccine-preventable diseases,” said THD Division Chief of Preventive Health Priscilla Haynes. “We hope many parents will take advantage of this service while they are back-to-school shopping during Tax Free weekend.”

THD provides immunizations according to the Oklahoma school requirements, CDC recommendations and the childhood and adolescent immunization schedule.

“Parents and legal guardians of children under the age of 18 may obtain their child’s immunization records during Saturday’s pop-up clinic,” said Haynes. “For those who qualify, the Oklahoma Caring Van will be on site to provide the necessary vaccinations for school enrollment.”

In addition to getting your immunization records, the Tulsa Health Department reminds you to beat the rush by visiting one of its immunization clinics before school starts:
