Drivers can expect various lane closures on SH-48 between SH-51 and US-412/US-64 in Creek and Pawnee Counties for a resurfacing project.
OKLAHOMA CITY METRO
SH-152 (Airport Rd.) narrows near Portland Ave. daily through May
SH-152 (Airport Rd.) will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between Portland Ave. and Meridian Ave. from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily through May for bridge work. Portland Ave. also will be narrowed to one lane each direction between S.W. 44th St. and S.W. 59th St. during these times.
Westbound I-44 Belle Isle bridge narrows at Western Ave.
Westbound I-44 Belle Isle bridge is narrowed between Western Ave. (mm 125B) and Penn Ave. (mm 125A) through June for a bridge rehabilitation project.
- Westbound I-44 is narrowed to two lanes in each direction during the day;
- Westbound I-44 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly and intermittently over the weekend;
- Speed is reduced to 40 mph in the work zone.
I-44 off-ramp to I-235 closed through early June ramps at N. 50th closed
Drivers can expect the following closures for the widening and reconstruction of I-235 between N. 50th St. and N. 36th St. through spring 2017:
- The eastbound I-44 off-ramp (mm 127a) to southbound I-235 is closed through early June
- The N. 50th St. bridge over I-235 is closed through spring 2018
- The southbound I-235 on-ramp from N. 50th St. is closed through fall.
- The northbound I-235 off-ramp to N. 50th St. and the northbound I-235 on-ramp from N. 50th St. Sewell Ave. access from N. 50th St. is closed through May for surface repairs.
- Motorists also should plan now for a full closure of I-235 between N. 36th St. and I-44 from 8 p.m. Friday, June 2, to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 7. Lanes will be shifted when the interstate reopens June 7.
Motorists should use SH-74 (Lake Hefner Parkway), I-44, I-35 and I-40 when possible as alternate routes and allow additional time while driving in this area. This project is scheduled to continue through early 2020. More information: https://www.ok.

All lanes of north and southbound US-75 are anticipated to be open between 81st St. South and 96th St. South by Friday morning. Future closures will be announced in the daily Traffic Advisory section of www.odot.org
I-44/145th E. Ave. bridge project; traffic shifted in corridor
As part of an ongoing bridge replacement and widening project:
- All lanes of north and southbound 145th E. Ave. are closed over I-44; traffic is detoured to 161st W. Avenue.
- Skelly Dr. is narrowed to one lane and only in the westbound direction between 161st E. Ave. and 145th E. Ave. during this time.
- Traffic is shifted on east and westbound I-44 (mm 237) in this corridor; use caution as traffic adjusts to this new configuration.
SH-167 narrowed near I-44 junction
Drivers can expect various lane closures on north and southbound SH-167 (193rd E. Ave.) from north of the I-44 junction to south of the SH-266 junction for an ongoing resurfacing project.
US-75/US-64/SH-51 ramps closed on Inner Dispersal Loop
As part of a bridge rehabilitation project, the following ramps are closed at the southeast corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop until further notice:
- The southbound US-75 off-ramp to southbound US-75/westbound US-64/SH-51; use I-244 on the north and west legs of the Inner Dispersal Loop as a detour.
- The Cincinnati Ave. bridge over US-75/US-64/SH-51
US-412 narrowed near Inola, Rogers Co.
East and westbound US-412 is narrowed to one open lane in each direction at the Verdigris River west of Inola for an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
US-75 narrowed over North Duck Creek
North and southbound US-75 is narrowed to one lane in each direction over North Duck Creek (five miles south of the US-75/SH-67 junction) for a bridge replacement project.
SH-11 (36th St. North) bridge project at US-75; US-75 lanes narrow Friday
As part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project on SH-11 (36th St. North) over US-75:
- Drivers can expect various traffic shifts on east and westbound SH-11 (36th St. North), with lanes narrowed to one lane in each direction at the US-75 junction until further notice.
- Drivers can expect various lane closures on northbound US-75 at the SH-11 (36th St. North) junction from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and on southbound US-75 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Friday.
