R.W. (Bob) Schultheiss Sept 4, 1927 – April 30, 2017
Robert William “Bob” Schultheiss was born September 4, 1927, in Huntington Beach, California, to William Frederick and Mary Carmen Germany Schultheiss. He died Sunday, April 30, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Bob was reared and educated in California and was a graduate of Los Angeles High School. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Navy during World War II. He was married September 3, 1950, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Doris Glenna Colpitt. They lived in California for several years before moving back to Collinsville in 1959 where they had since made their home and raised their family. Bob began working in insurance and was the owner of Schultheiss Insurance Agency from 1965 through 1990. He was a longtime faithful member of the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene. He was also a member of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce, Collinsville School Board, and the Collinsville Senior Citizens, serving as a board member with each group. Bob was always active in the Collinsville community and loved his sports. He coached numerous kids in football, basketball, and baseball. He enjoyed raising pigeons, both racing homers and show pigeons, including a national champion for show. He later became interested and enjoyed thoroughbred horses and horse racing.
He leaves behind a loving family who hold many cherished memories:

Grandchildren; Bobby Chambers, Lauris Schultheiss, Ali Ryder and husband Corey, Madyson Schultheiss, Bayli Schultheiss, Lindsey Schultheiss, Amy Schultheiss, and Kerry Eubank and husband Grant
Great grandchildren; Brayden Barbour, Rylan and Indigo Chambers, Daphnie Fisher, Sophia Ryder, Greyson Ryder, James Robison, Raegan and Cooper Eubank, Blayke and Ellyott Schultheiss.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris Schultheiss.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Odom and Keith Whitfield officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Steve Williams, Bob Bratton, Bob Pratt, Joe Colley, Jay Crutchfield, and Skip Barnes. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Folds of Honor Foundation, 5800 North Patriot Drive, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
