Margaret Rose Lamb Jan 12, 1925 – May 11, 2018

Margaret Rose Lamb, 93 of Collinsville, OK passed away, Friday, May 11, 2018 in Collinsville. She was born January 12, 1925 in Tahlequah, OK to D.J. and Sallie Pauline (Ross) Garner. She attended Northeastern State College at the age of 16. While attending college she worked at the PX at Camp Gruber. She married Louis Warren Lamb on November 4, 1942. After World War II, they lived in Muskogee until moving to Tulsa in 1950, where she worked at Spartan Aircraft in the Instrument Department. After helping her mother for several years in Garner’s Flower Shop, she took over ownership in the late 1970’s. She continued to own and operate the shop until 1990. She loved needlepoint, sewing and quilting.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive guest from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa with Rev. Amy Venable officiating. Interment will follow at noon at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.

She is survived by 3 children: Mary Kaonohi of Collinsville, Jennifer Hall of Collinsville and David Warren Lamb and his wife Beth of Ellerbe, NC. 3 grandchildren: Murrell Salner and her husband Craig of Miami, FL, Loring Ross Hall of Talala and Samantha Slater and her husband Jeff of Oologah. She is also survived by 1 great-grandchild: Meredith Slater of Oologah.

Her husband, Louis Warren Lamb, precedes her in death.
