Man Arrested Breaking in to Cars at University of Tulsa
09/05/2018 – On Wednesday, September 05, 2018 at around 4:20am, Tulsa officers were radio assigned to Tulsa University, 600 S. Delaware Ave., in reference to a suspect in custody for burglary from vehicle.
Upon arrival officers made contact with Tulsa University security who stated they observed the suspect, later identified as Kevin Gigliotti, attempting to open car doors in the student parking lot.
Officers found three bags and a sentry safe in Kevin Gigliotti’s possession. Kevin stated he did not own the property but found it in a dumpster near the Papa John’s restaurant on East 11th Street. Inside one of the bags was an ID from Columbia. The ID belonged to a victim of a recent burglary from vehicle.
Kevin, who stated he recently used methamphetamine two hours prior to being arrested, stated he was being chased by members of the Irish Mob. Security cameras, however, refuted Kevin’s story. During a search of Kevin’s person incident to arrest officers found methamphetamine. Kevin was arrested and booked at David L. Moss Correctional Facility.
