June 27, Kids Summer Safety Fair Event at Claremore Indian Hospital
Saturday, June 27th from 9am – Noon the Kids Summer Safety Fair event will be hosted at Claremore Indian Hospital, with several representatives from the Tulsa and Rogers County community.
This event is geared for all local families and will cover a variety of safety topics. The event will include a car seat safety check with a limited number of free car seats, as well as, the most comprehensive child identification program in the United States at no cost to the parent/guardian.

The Claremore Indian Hospital will be hosting the first annual Kids Summer Safety fest on June 27, 2015 from 9:00am-12:00pm. The event will be located outdoors at 101 S. Moore Claremore, OK 74017. The event is geared towards school aged children and will include games, giveaways and fun educational learning activities created by local agencies and businesses.

Oklahoma Poison Control Center will be conducting education regarding poisons, medications and synthetic drugs. Claremore Fire Department will have a fire truck available for children to take tours. Pafford EMS will also be providing tours of an ambulance. Claremore Indian Health Service will be providing a variety of games and education from their dental, dietary, pharmacy, benefit coordinators, and emergency department. Tulsa Emergency Infant Services will be providing information regarding the services that they provide along with diaper giveaway. Safenet Emergency Services will be conducting a bicycle give away, as well as, a fun game teaching children how to address bulling. Claremore Auto Parts has provided a wrecked car with teachings regarding the importance of seat belt safety. Nabatak outdoors will be giving away a life jacket and fishing pole. Other agencies attending with special booth and activities include: Saint Francis Children’s Hospital, Claremore Hillcrest Hospital, Rogers County Sheriff’s Department- K9 unit, Claremore Police Department.
