Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa hosts Halloween party with ‘Exorcist’ star
Exorcistravaganza Halloween Party includes free costume contest and visit from Linda Blair
TULSA, Okla. – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, known for hosting one of the largest Halloween parties in the city, is once again taking this year’s festivities to a whole new level. This year’s Exorcistravaganza Halloween Party features a costume contest with cash prizes and music, as well as a meet and greet with “The Exorcist” star Linda Blair.
“We are looking forward to creating another memorable event for our guests,” said Roxane Jolley, senior marketing manager at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. “Each year, we have guests who go all out on their costumes, and when you combine that with an icon from one of the scariest movies of our time and the entertainment, it is certainly going to be a great time.”
Blair, best known for her role as possessed child Regan in the film “The Exorcist,” is hosting a meet and greet from 8pm to 9:30pm in the Sequoyah convention center, which is turned into the Halloween hotspot. She earned an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for her work in the supernatural horror film.
While getting a chance to meet the star, guests can enjoy the Halloween costume contest. The contest features a costume party with $6,000 being awarded among first, second and third place winners.
The doors open at 8 p.m., and guests must be in the ballroom for judging between 10:45 and 11:30 p.m., when winners are announced.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is also hosting a full evening of live entertainment in its Grand Lobby, including a dance troupe performance at 9:30 p.m.
Guests must be 21 to attend and the festivities are free.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is located off Interstate 44 at exit 240.
