All lanes of north and southbound I-35 will be open to traffic between Oklahoma City and the Texas state line Friday through Sunday for the OU/Texas football game in Dallas. Very heavy traffic is expected on I-35 this weekend and drivers should plan plenty of extra travel time or consider using an alternate route. Lindsey St. bridge, ramps at I-35 closed in Norman
The Lindsey St. bridge over I-35 and all I-35 on- and off-ramps at Lindsey St. in Norman are closed for interchange reconstruction. Drivers are detoured to SH-9 East. Lanes are shifted and the speed limit remains reduced, however, all four interstate lanes are open.

Drivers can expect lane shifts and a reduced speed limit on SH-9 between 36th Ave. S.E. and 72nd Ave. S.E. for reconstruction and widening.
 

SH-37 (S. 4th St.) in Moore narrowed through October

 
SH-37 (S. 4th St.) is narrowed to one lane in each direction between Santa Fe Ave. and Bryant Ave. through October for resurfacing. Expect delays, plan extra travel time.

The first two projects listed will have a significant impact during game day travel. Drivers are urged to plan ahead for extra travel time in these corridors or to seek an alternate route.
 

SH-51 narrowed west of SH-97 junction

 
East and westbound SH-51 is narrowed to one open lane in each direction and a wide load restriction in place about six miles west of the SH-97 junction until late 2016 for surface repairs. Drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time in the corridor, especially for game day travel.
 

US-412/US-64 narrowed at 161st W. Ave.

 
East and westbound US-412/US-64 is narrowed to one lane in each direction and a wide-load restriction in place near 161st W. Ave. (Shell Creek) through late 2016 as part of a bridge rehabilitation project. Drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time in the corridor, especially for game day travel.
 

I-244/23rd St. bridge project – lane closures Saturday

 
All lanes of 23rd St. are closed over I-244/US-75 through early fall 2016 for the first phase of a bridge rehabilitation project. The westbound I-244/southbound US-75 off-ramp to 21st St. (mm 3B) will remain open during this time. The overall project is scheduled to complete early 2018.
  • Westbound I-244 will be narrowed to one open lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Expect significant delays in the corridor.

US-169/Bird Creek widening project

 
North and southbound US-169 is now open to three lanes in each direction between 56th St. North and 66th St. North. Use caution as traffic adjusts to this new configuration. Be alert to crews completing work in the area; overall completion is scheduled for early 2017. 
 

US-75/US-64/SH-51 bridge projects on Inner Dispersal Loop

 
As part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project along the south leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop, delays can be expected especially during peak travel times:
 
  • All lanes of Cheyenne Ave. and Main St. are closed over the south leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop until further notice.
  • Northbound US-75/eastbound US-64/SH-51 and southbound US-75/westbound US-64/SH-51 (south leg IDL) are narrowed to two open lanes in each direction until further notice.

I-40 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between the US-75/US-62/Indian Nation Turnpike interchange (mm 240) and US-75B (mm 237) for pavement rehabilitation.
 

US-75 narrowed near Okmulgee, Okmulgee Co.

 
US-75 is narrowed to one lane in each direction just south of Okmulgee for pavement rehabilitation.
