Platinum-selling artist coming to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. – Heavily praised recording artist Chris Isaak is bringing his collection of hits and holiday favorites to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa Dec. 8 as part of his Holiday Tour.
Tickets start at $29.50 and go on sale Oct. 12.
In the course of Isaak’s career, he has released 12 albums, been nominated for two Grammy awards, acted in several motion pictures and starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series. Even his hair has its own fan club.
Isaak’s biggest hit came in 1990 with the release of the single “Wicked Game,” which had an accompanying hit video directed by famed photographer Herb Ritts. The steamy black-and-white clip featured Isaak and supermodel Helena Christensen in intimate moments on a beach.
Other popular songs by Isaak include “Don’t Make Me Dream About You,” “Can’t Do A Thing (to Stop Me),” “Somebody’s Crying,” and “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing,” which resulted in a second video collaboration with Ritts.
Isaak released a greatest hits collection titled “Best of Chris Isaak” in 2006. In 2011, he released “Beyond the Sun,” a collection of famous songs originally recorded by legendary Sun Records artists Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. Among the songs on the release are “Ring of Fire,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “It’s Now or Never,” “So Long I’m Gone,” “Dixie Fried” and “I Walk the Line.”
