TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Area teachers are invited to kick off fall break by participating in a cultural skills workshop at the Cherokee Heritage Center on Thursday, Oct.13.
The one-day training provides interactive learning opportunities designed to help public, private and home school teachers bring Cherokee culture into the classroom.
The workshop is held at CHC from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $25 to participate. Lunch is included. Early registration is strongly recommended as class size is limited. The deadline to register for the workshop is Oct. 10.
