Broken Arrow Man Injured in Saturday Traffic Accident in Tulsa
Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred April 1, 2017 at approximately 6:49pm on US412 eastbound just west of 49th West Avenue in the city limits of Tulsa, OK .
A 2005 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Edwin McHenry, 60, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was eastbound on US412 at an extremely high rate of speed when he struck a 2015 Dodge Ram driven by Gary Thompson 47, also of Broken Arrow, in the rear of the truck causing McHenry to separate from the bike and travel approximately 567ft from the point of impact.
McHenry was transported by EMSA to St John hospital in Tulsa, OK where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk, internal, arm and leg injuries.
Thompson was not injured.
