The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting an injury collision occurred on December 10, at approximately 7:16pm on Interstate Forty-four (I-44) westbound approximately 1/10 of a mile west of 161st East Avenue, 1/10 of a mile south of the city limits of Catoosa, OK in Rogers County.
A 2015 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 16 year old female from Tulsa, was traveling westbound merging on to I44, departed the roadway to the right and struck a 1996 Dodge Truck which was parked and unoccupied. The truck then struck James A. Morgan 49, of Broken Arrow, OK who was outside the vehicle. Morgan was transported by Pafford EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was admitted in stable condition with internal trunk, external trunk, arm and leg injuries.
The Juvenal was uninjured.
