Broken Arrow Couple Injured in Creek County Off Road Vehicle Accident
03/03/2018- Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting that an accident occurred March 3rd at approximately 2:28pm on private property, located at 151st Street South, one mile east of 401st West Avenue, six miles north of Bristow, in Creek County.
A 2015 Polaris Rzr-1100, being driven by Charles Melson, age 69, of Broken Arrow, was traveling on dirt trails on private property when he attempted to negotiate a curve, accelerated mid-curve, and rolled ½ time coming to rest on the passenger side. He was not injured.
His passenger, Deloris Melson, age 68, of Broken Arrow, was transported by Creek County EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was admitted in stable condition with arm injuries.
