Collinsville Woman Injured in Monday Morning Accident
06/18/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred June 18th just after 8:00am on 136th Street North at the intersection of Garnett Road westbound, 12 feet south of Collinsville, OK in Tulsa County.
Darla Shaw, 52 of Collinsville was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey and stopped at a stop sign facing west on 136th Street North. A 1995 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Brittany Lynch, 28, of Tulsa, was northbound on Garnett Road.
The OHP report states that Shaw pulled into the path of Lynch and was struck on the drivers side door. Shaw was pinned in her vehicle approximately 20 minutes and was freed by members of Collinsville Fire Department using their extrication equipment.
Shaw was then transported by Owasso Fire Department to St. John Hospital in Tulsa. She was treated and released with trunk internal and leg injuries.
Lynch was transported to St. John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, and leg injuries. A 2 year old female passenger in the car was also transported to St. John Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with a head injury.
