Department of Public Safety officials report 41 traffic-related fatalities in March 2015 compared to 43 in the same month last year.

Four of the fatality crashes were alcohol-related. Thirty-three of the fatality victims were Oklahoma residents and eight nonresidents. There were 26 male and 15 female victims. Six of the fatality victims were under the age of 20. The 31 – to 40-year-old age group led the fatality count with 13.
Tulsa County led the state with a total of eight fatalities, followed by Lincoln and Pontotoc County with three fatalities. The highest number of fatalities occurred on State Highways with 13. There were 11 fatalities on U.S. Highways.
