10:45 a.m. – Cherokee Nation Indian Child Welfare hosts “Carry On” Foster Care Awareness Walk at the field west of the W.W. Keeler Tribal Complex in Tahlequah. Principal Chief Bill John Baker speaks at 11 a.m. and walk starts at 11:30 a.m. Food trucks are on site. The walk is free, but participants are asked to donate gently used carry-on bags or luggage for foster children to use during relocation.   • Fridays (beginning Jan. 23), 6 to 8 p.m. – life drawing workshop
  • Saturdays, noon to 2 p.m. – loom weaving taught by Cherokee National Treasure Dorothy Ice
  • Saturdays, by appointment – basic assemblage taught by Robert Shinn
