Percy Louis Fields went to meet the Lord and Savior on March 10, 2017 at the age of 95.
Percy was born to Willie and Ernie fields in Sallisaw, OK in 1921.
Percy grew up in the towns of Muse, OK and Jenks, OK. As a child, he loved hunting with his brother Raymond and helping to take care of his sisters
Percy married Evelyn Mae Simmons Jan. 17 1948. They lived in Jenks, OK, Rose, OK, Tulsa, OK and moved to Collinsville, OK in 1968.
Percy and Evelyn welcomed two children; December 1948 Judy Mae (Fields) Lang and July 1957 James Ronald Fields.
Percy was drafted in Nov. 1942 into the U.S. Army , at Camp Chaffee Arkansas, served as Staff Sergeant Platoon Guide (leader) 745 Combat Infantryman ; Percy landed in Rhineland, Northern France.

Percy earned journeyman plumber license in 1958, worked for E. L. Brown Plumbing and Heating, coral swimming pools as a Plumber, Sargent Bros. Machine Shop. Retired from the State of Oklahoma as a maintenance worker.
Percy’s hobbies included playing Army baseball, town baseball pitching horseshoes, fishing, and Raising cows and Gardening; he loved watching old western movies and Red’s baseball, O.U. football, Dallas Cowboys football, NASCAR, and any other sports on t.v.
Percy spent his life loving his wife, Children, Grandchildren, Great- Great- Grandchildren, Family and Friends
Percy leaves his wife, Evelyn Fields of Collinsville; daughter Judy Lang and son-n-law Billy Lang of wagoner; son James Fields and daughter-n-law Debbie Fields of Owasso and sister Edith Brown of Jenks, along with 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren; 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Percy is preceded in death by a loving mother and father; Ernie and WillIe Fields; his brother and best friend Raymond Fields; his sisters Edna Phillips and Faye Carter.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville. Burial Will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, OK.
