Skiatook Man Dies – Broken Arrow Teens Uninjured in Saturday Crash

03/28/2020 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a fatality collision occurred Saturday, March 28th at approximately 12:22 pm on US75 southbound at 96th St. North, 3 miles east of Sperry, OK in Tulsa County.

Michael D. Hulsey, age 32, of Skiatook, OK was driving a 2003 Ford Focus and was pronounced at the scene by Owasso Fire from massive injuries.

Joel Barlow,  age 19, of Broken Arrow, OK was driving a  2016 Ford F250 and was not injured. His passenger, passengers:  Tyson Barlow, 18 of Broken Arrow was also uninjured.

The cause of the crash is under Investigation

  • Seatbelts –           Equipped Vehicle-1; in use. Equipped Vehicle-2; in use.
  • Airbag-                   Equipped in Vehicle-1 not deployed
  •                                   Equipped in Vehicle-2 deployed
  • Weather –               Clear
  • Roadway –              Dry
  • Pinned –                Driver of Vehicle-1 was pinned for approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes
  • Ejected –                None
