Striped bass fair on live shad, plastics and sassy shad below the dam and around main lake, river channel and river mouth. Striper fishing is still tough but is slowly picking up speed and getting better. Anglers targeting striped bass should fish the west end of the lake near Willis. Live bait and dead-sticking have been productive methods. Recent information from ODWC fisheries division showed good numbers of healthy striped bass from 18-26 inches so spring fishing should be great. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad below the dam, around river channel and river mouth.
