McGee Creek: October 25. Elevation is 6 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 74°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass excellent on Alabama rigs, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around brush structure, rocks, sandbar, and shorelines. Channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live shad, shrimp, and stinkbait around creek channels, docks, and main lake. Texoma: October 27. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 78°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad around channels, points, and river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, live shad, and stinkbait around channels, coves, docks, main lake, and points. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week was better. Striper are biting on live shad near channels and ledges. With the cooler weather coming it’s only going to get better. Catfish are still good on live bait and punch bait near cleaning docks and baited holes.
