On Thursday, February 1, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tactical Team responded to a home in the town of Gracemont, Oklahoma in Caddo County. OHP was assisting the U.S. Marshals with the service of a warrant.
While attempting to serve the warrant, the suspect inside the home fired multiple rounds at OHP troopers causing minor injuries to multiple troopers.
Troopers returned fire, striking the suspect. The suspect was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the shooting.
Troopers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave.
OHP Troop Z is currently investigating the incident.
