Broken Arrow Teen Injured in Mayes County Single Car Accident

 

10/04/2022 – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that an injury collision occurred on October 3rd at approximately 8:38 am on the Cherokee Turnpike about 1 ½ mile west of Rose in Mayes County, OK.

A 2005 GMC Canyon driven by Matthew Parrott , 18 of Broken Arrow was eastbound on the Cherokee Turnpike, fell asleep at the wheel, drifted to the right, overcorrected then departed the roadway to the right and rolled 1 ¼ coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Parrott was transported to St Francis in Tulsa, and admitted in stable condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and external injuries.
