Guests Can Visit Santa and Donate to Toys for Tots
The Oklahoma Aquarium has decked their halls for the Christmas season, and guests can enjoy the décor now through the end of the year. Guests can also visit Diver Santa at the aquarium on December 12, 13, 19, and 20 from 12-3 p.m. Santa will be diving with his fish friends in the aquarium’s Polynesian Reef exhibit. Guests are welcome to take photos with the big man, but social distancing will be enforced while waiting in line.
Decorations and Santa visits aren’t the only ways the Oklahoma Aquarium is spreading Christmas cheer. The organization is partnering with Salvation Army to distribute sweet treats and other aquatic goodies to locals in need. In addition, they’re hosting a toy drive benefitting Toys for Tots. Now through December 13, the aquarium is accepting new, unwrapped toys for children in need.
“These past few months, we have been incredibly fortunate to stay safe and keep our doors open,” said Oklahoma Aquarium Chief Marketing Officer Andrea Leitch. “Our community has been a huge support, and we want to return that support by making this a special holiday season.”
The Oklahoma Aquarium is a 501(c)(3) organization. Money collected through admission, memberships, and events goes directly to our exhibits and education programs.
