Ft. Gibson: November 30. Elevation above normal, water 51 with 1 ft. of visibility. White bass fair on slabs and spoons along creek channels and river channel. Paddlefish fair snagging in the river channel. Crappie good on jigs, minnows and shad around brush structure, creek channels and river channel. Warm afternoons will bring the baitfish shallow to feed. Anglers can expect an uptick in the action during those time. During other times, fish are settling into cold water wintertime patterns. Greenleaf: November 30. Elevation normal, water 65 and clear. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad along flats. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Kaw: November 30. Elevation normal, water upper 40s to low 50s and clear. Tenkiller: November 30. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky. Webbers Falls: November 30. Elevation normal, water 64 and clear. Foss: November 30. Elevation 3 1/4 ft. below normal, water mid-50s and clear. Arbuckle: November 30. Elevation 1 1/3 ft. below normal, water 60 and clear. Bass fair to good on spinnerbaits, Alabama rigs, Ned rigs, drop-shot and shaky worms. Most bass being caught are small. Crappie good jigging spoons on ledges and slow around docks. Rainbow trout good on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs and PowerBait along channels, river channel and rocks. Peach and pale green garlic scented PowerBait has been the bait of choice for bait fishermen. Egg patterns along with flies that have rubber legs have been the top producers recently for fly-fishermen and women. There has been a hatch going on in the late afternoon to produce some action on dry flies and emergers. When fishing with lures and bait make sure you are using light line, 4-6 pound test. The clear water makes it super easy for the fish to see fishing line and leaders, so I would recommend downsizing. Texoma: November 27. Elevation below normal, water 61 and clear. Striped bass good on flukes, live bait and live shad in the main lake, around points and river channel. Striped bass are biting live shad and flukes or dead-sticking. Anglers should use electronics or active birds to locate feeding striper. Dead-sticking has picked up and is an effective technique to catch good fish. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad around docks and main lake. Blue cats are being caught on or near cleaning docks on cut bait. Crappie fair on jigs, live bait and minnows around brush structure and docks. Crappie fishing has been fair on docks with brush below. Report submitted by Trey Hale, game warden in Marshall County.
