Ft. Gibson: March 23. Elevation above normal, water 55 and muddy. Most public access locations and boat ramps are closed due to high water. Many hazards exist for boaters. Only boaters with extensive familiarity with the lake should be on the water. Use extreme caution while boating or otherwise recreating on the lake at this time. Blue and channel catfish fair on shad below the dam and along flats. Grand: March 22. Elevation 6 ft. above normal, water 53 and muddy. For current elevation conditions go to the US Army Corps of Engineers website at https://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/PENS.lakepage.html. The area has received4-5 inches of rain in the las few days. Neosho and Spring rivers are swelled out of the banks. Debris has come down the Neosho and Spring River(s) out of KS which has made the navigation of the waters tricky. Most of the fish bite has been slow due to the conditions. White bass fair on crankbaits, grubs, jigs, spinnerbaits and spoons along channels, main lake, river channel and river mouth. Crappie slow on minnows and tube jigs around docks and main lake. Paddlefish snagging has been slow-fair in some parts of the lake/Neosho River due to the high water levels. Kaw: March 23. Elevation 5 1/3 ft. above normal and rising, water mid-50s and muddy. Blue and channel catfish excellent on cut bait, goldfish, shad, stinkbait and worms below the dam, along flats, main lake, river channel, river mouth and shallows. Paddlefish good snagging below the dam. White bass, striped bass hybrids and walleye  good on grubs, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, minnows, sassy shad, spoons and tube jigs below the dam and along Little Beaver and Otter creeks. Arbuckle: March 25. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky but clearing with floating debris. The lake level is still high with ankle deep water at most loading dock entrances. Some stable warm weather should begin to increase fishing success. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on crankbaits and plastic baits around brush structure, channels, main lake and rocks. Crappie slow on hair jigs, live bait, slabs and tube jigs around brush structure, channels and main lake. Fishing should start picking up as the river continues to get back to normal flows and clarity. Rainbow trout fair on in-line spinnerbaits, PowerBait and spoons along creek channels, river channel and below falls behind current breaks. Fishing has been slow due to high water but the river is coming down nicely. Focus on fishing around structure that provides a current break for the trout to get behind. Texoma: March 20. Elevation rising, water 52 and muddy. White bass good on live bait, live shad and sassy shad along channels, creek channels, river channel and river mouth. White bass have been showing up in feeder creeks on warm days, use sassy shads and road runners to catch sand bass in creeks. Striped bass fair on Alabama rigs, live shad and sassy shad in the main lake, around points and river mouth. Striped bass working on points and beneath active birds. Alabama rigs and sassy shad have been the go to baits, schools of striper have been moving fast, so don’t be afraid to chase schools of feeding fish. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Crappie are in the staging process getting ready to spawn in the shallows. Most are being at 5-18 ft. depending on the day. Pink seems to be a good color to produce bites. Anglers are reporting good size crappie averaging 13 inches and healthy.
