A new web experience is coming for visitors of BrokenArrowOK.gov, the City of Broken Arrow’s website. Launching mid-day Thursday, March 19, the new website provides visitors a refreshed and better organized experience that is friendlier for smartphone and tablet users.
New features also help visitors find the information they need more quickly and easily than before. The Service Finder at the top of all pages helps visitors find information by answering a simple “How do I…” guided question. The new menu options also now include an “I Want To…” section that will feature commonly requested web topics at a click.
For example, “How do I…Report…Code Compliance Violation” or “I Want To…Report A Problem” both guide users to the City’s Action Center.
Another new feature is the GO Bond and Capital Improvement Projects tracker. Available under the “I Want To…” menu, this GIS-based tool shows visitors every active CIP and Bond project currently planned, underway and recently completed in the City. Details for each project include estimated cost, funding source, and an estimated timeline.
The City’s tourism website, VisitBrokenArrowOK.com, is undergoing a similar redesign and that new page will be launched shortly after the City’s page.

Visitors should note, any bookmarks they had for BrokenArrowOK.gov pages may need to be updated after the redesigned site is launched. Subscribers to the City’s news, calendar, bid and other feeds will also need to resubscribe to the new website. Certain third-party bookmarks, such as to the City’s online payment system, should be unaffected.
