Broken Arrow Man Injured in Saturday Traffic Accident in Wagoner County

11/24/2019 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred on November 23rd at approximately 8:29 AM on SH 351 (Muskogee Turnpike) near mile marker 22 southbound, approximately 3 miles east of Porter in Wagoner County, Oklahoma.

Brett Howard Russell of  Broken Arrow was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, departed roadway to the right, struck the bottom of turnpike underpass and rolled downhill to rest upright blocking the outside lane. Russell was pinned approximately 30 minutes then extricated by Porter Fire Department using spreading equipment.  He was transported by Wagoner EMS to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of trunk, extremity and head injuries.  Russell was admitted in critical condition.
